Serge Creator Studios is a marketing and creative agency headquartered in Newport Beach, California. This case study covers our production at Win The Storm 2026, a three-day conference for the roofing industry in Dallas, Texas: the team, the plan, the videos we made while the event was on, and what happened to every file after it.
Win The Storm 2026/Dallas, Oct 28–30
videos posted during and right after the event, edited on site, between sessions
The Challenge
Win The Storm brings the roofing industry to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center for three days: a Main Stage, four breakout rooms running six sessions a day, the Roofer Games on the first night, morning workouts, an exhibit floor and a VIP program.
Win The Storm has been our client since 2023: we built Josey Parks’s website, the Win The Storm brand kit and the speaker and sponsor animations for the 2026 event. This year they asked us to film it.
The organizers wanted three things from one team. Videos while the event was still on, so the energy in the hall reached the people who were not in it. Every breakout session recorded and edited, for the speakers and for their own library. And every file from every camera, their own crew’s included, in one archive where things can actually be found. All of it from a crew flying in from Los Angeles to a venue it had never worked in, on a fixed scope.
Method: footage counted file by file on our studio server against the camera drives; sessions, testimonials and B-roll counted from the final exports and the client’s Drive on November 3, 2026.
The Team
Six people, each with one job, and one plan everybody had read before the flight.
Videographers
Two leads on the Roofer Games and the Main Stage. On the breakout days, one room each: a locked-off 4K wide and a manned close-up.
On-site video editor
Cut, graded and captioned each day’s videos from that day’s cards, so they went out the same day or the next morning.
Creative producer and director
The coverage plan, the shot lists and the run of show, and the final word on every cut. Then social distribution: captions, approvals with the client’s social team and the posting schedule.

What We Delivered
15 short videos made on site and posted during and right after the event: daily recaps, the Roofer Games, testimonials, a morning run, a workout and a closing hype video.
48 breakout sessions, each filmed with two cameras and the room’s soundboard audio, then edited with the client’s intro and outro, the session title and speaker names on screen, color and clean audio.
78 testimonials from attendees and exhibitors, color graded, with clean sound, ranked best first.
947 B-roll clips for the client’s ads, from our cameras on all three days, filed in their Drive. Not in the scope: we added it.
A 4.1 TB archive from every camera at the event, ours and the client’s own, kept in three copies and filed into the client’s folders by day, stage and event.
One private channel in SRG+ where the team watches everything, shares a session with its speaker and downloads the files.
The Videos
Fifteen videos from three days of filming, between 16 and 39 seconds each, cut from that day’s footage and posted during the event or the morning after. By November 1 they had passed 30,000 views on Instagram.
Every Breakout Session, Two Cameras
Four rooms ran six sessions a day for two days. Each room had a locked-off 4K wide of the stage, an operator on the speaker with a long lens, and a recorder on the room’s soundboard: in a convention hall, the soundboard is the only clean audio there is.

In the edit, every session gets the two cameras and the board audio in sync, cuts between the wide and the close-up, color, a cleaned-up voice, the client’s intro and outro, the title and the speaker’s name, and a trim to the real start and end. All 48 were in SRG+ three days after the last one ended.
Every Breakout in SRG+
Every breakout room went into one private SRG+ channel, by day and stage. Each session has its cover, its panelists and the full recording, so the client’s team can stream any breakout, pick up where they stopped, share it with its speaker or download the file.

Outcome
Every line of the scope shipped: fifteen videos during and right after the event, over 30,000 Instagram views by November 1, then all forty-eight sessions edited and the full archive in the client’s Drive four days after it. On top of the scope: a fourth breakout room covered on both days, 78 graded testimonials and 947 B-roll clips for their ads.
What we would plan for the next conference: fewer videos, each one crafted. Two a day, built on a speaker’s best line with word-by-word captions, land harder than fifteen quick recaps. That takes the Main Stage program feed from the first day, so we now put it in the scope before we fly.
